Akron-Canton Food Bank
Every month the entire team at Broadview Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical donates one-half of a Friday, packaging meals for the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank. The event always becomes a friendly competition with fantastic results. We are proud to set records for packaging every time we go, which means a record number of food items are packaged for families in need. Broadview Heating Food Drive
February is the time of year food pantries become low on supplies, as the surplus from the Holiday Season has been distributed. To assist local pantries, restock, during this time, we hold an annual food drive that began in 2017. Each year our team, residents and customers generously donate over 1,500 non-perishable food items, toiletries and paper products.
Oviatt House
The historic Oviatt House, built in 1836 by Mason Oviatt and his wife Fanny, is one of the oldest buildings in Richfield, Ohio. The house has ties to the Underground Railroad and the American abolitionist John Brown. To assist in renovating this special home, Tom, a Richfield resident was happy to provide a full HVAC system and duct work for the home. Once restored to its original appearance, OHI would like to turn Oviatt House into a welcome center and museum. Veteran Giveaway
Broadview Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical honors the men and women who have served or are currently serving, as well as their families by donating and installing one new air conditioning unit every May and one new furnace every November. Nominees may include any Veteran (discharged under general or honorable conditions), Active-Duty Military (any branch), National Guard or Reserves.
